Volkan ÖzdurmuÅŸ Ceo
Volkan is a sustainability and finance professional with over two decades of experience at the intersection of investment, policy, and ESG strategy. He brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise, global financial sector leadership, and hands-on sustainability integration across diverse industries and geographies.
He has worked with governments, financial institutions, and corporations on sustainability strategy, ESG risk management, and climate transition planning and execution. In recent years, he has been involved in policy–finance initiatives, supporting high-level discussions on climate and finance, and promoting the integration of sustainability principles into financial frameworks.
He has steered investments through an ESG lens — shaping firm-wide sustainability roadmaps and engaging with portfolio companies to strengthen their practices and resilience — while also contributing to global Net Zero commitments by collaborating with international coalitions to advance carbon accounting and transition methodologies.
His academic background includes master’s degrees in Quantitative Finance (Rutgers University) and Economics (Ankara University), alongside a bachelor’s in Statistics (METU). He also holds advanced certifications in sustainability and climate risk, and has taught courses on sustainable and impact investing, sharing knowledge with professionals and future practitioners in the field. Volkan partners with organizations to navigate sustainability challenges, integrate ESG frameworks, and unlock long-term value through climate-aligned, data-driven strategies.
Ozan ÇaÄŸrı Gazitürk Vice President & Lead Economist
Ozan has over 20 years of professional experience in macroeconomic and financial market analysis, as well as investment strategies in the financial sector. He is adept at interpreting global economic trends and translating them into actionable recommendations for financial institutions and corporate clients.
As Head of the Financial Strategies & Analysis Department at the Finance Office of the Presidency of Türkiye, he has been involved in national sector reports and strategic work on financial and fintech policies.
For over a decade, he served as the chief economist at a prominent Turkish bank an institution recognized for its strategic focus on agribusiness and SMEs.
Ozan holds an MSc in Financial Economics from Istanbul Bilgi University and BSc degrees in Economics & Management from Istanbul Bilgi University and the LSE External Programme. He is fluent in English and proficient in Kyrgyz.
Ozan delivers expertise in strategic financial planning, macroeconomic risk evaluation, and cross-sector analysis. Alongside his work in economic and financial sector reporting for policy and regulatory discussions, he brings additional expertise in fintech ecosystems and financial innovation, applying it where relevant to support institutions in managing risk and adapting to shifting financial landscapes.
